Introduction: Mutations in SLC29A3 lead to PHID and H syndromes, familial Rosai Dorfman Disease and Histiocytosis-lymphadenopathy plus syndrome. PHID syndrome is associated with short stature, pubertal delay, endocrine and exocrine pancreatic insufficiency.
